I discovered that my 1997 Palomino camper used an unusual size for the escape hatch above the bed. This was the exact same one that my camper had. I found the construction to be adequate. There were no instructions but I figured out how to put it in after taking the old one out. The shipment was very quick and undamaged. I am a happy customer.

Great quality and easy to install! Have an older truck camper, so couldn’t find exact size needed. After a little reframing, this slid right in.

Others have said it’s cheaply made… it is somewhat and yet, most vents without a fan that I’ve seen resemble this quality.The insulation was easy…. AND it would have been nice to have SOME instructions available either in print or online. We bought the putty tape, screws and silicone separately.We’ll see how it goes once we take it out on the road!

Unable to use the framework only the lid. The vendor should know it would be good to have a lid only purchase option. This lid is much thinner than the old lid I had and let’s much light in. I hope it will last?
