I was boring of the broken plastic pieces. With this product I finally changed it for a solid aluminium well done spare. They fit perfect and it hooks as well as the original when it was new.

I was skeptical when I ordered the rebuild kit as I had always just replaced the entire latch in the past. I liked the fact that the new parts were aluminum and not the standard plastic. I watched the short install video, and then replaced the parts. The entire rebuild process probably took me less than 10 minutes, and that included watching the video. Should last longer than the brittle plastic. Being made out of aluminum and painted red you can’t tell the difference. Even fits like the original. They were worth it thank you.

This is the second time I’ve had to replace those little clips on the Geo Tracker, so I got these aluminum ones, and they are very good. They’re indestructible, and should last forever. Pretty easy to install, and fit right. More expensive than plastic, but all the plastic on that Geo Tracker gets brittle.

It doesnt open as easy as the stock plastic ones(but one of them broke), these work fine and should last longer than the tracker!
