The old unit failed after 400k miles, so I decided to replace it finally. The brakes feel great, and the ABS functions better than I expected. The truck (‘96 f250 7.3 diesel) just about stops on a dime now without tire chirping at all.

I had an awfully mushy brake pedal on my 95 F-250 and did a bunch of research and found this part often times is the culprit. We bled all the brakes, installed this part and did an adjustment to both the master cylinder rod and the rear brake shoes and thankfully that brought my peddle back to firm and confidence inspiring. The ABS light still though is on not sure why, but at least I can stop again!!!

this thing is total garbage. once installed – no abs and brake and abs light lit. bought another one from oreilly – no problem.
