I am experimenting with different ways to stay hydrated on longer runs. This little thing can keep me going for about 8 miles in good weather, 4 in the heat, but I do drink more water during running that the average runner. I wish I would have purchased the handheld without the pouch, because I have never used the pouch. I suppose I could use it to keep extra nutrition, but it is not big enough for anything else, like a phone. However, the pouch has not been in my way. The flask is a pain to get in and out of the contraption for cleaning. I have hands on the small side of average for a woman, and I can adjust this comfortably. However, on hot days, my hand does get a little sweaty.

I bought this for my 5 year daughter who runs with me. She is running 4 miles and asked for her own water bottle (I always run with my Nathan Quick draw bottle) but mine is too large for her so after doing some research, found this to be deal for her small hand. It’s still a bit too large and I don’t fill up the bottle all the way (she still has to rotate hands like I do with my running bottle because of the weight of the water) but this bottle is the most ergonomically comfortable for her little hands. I have adjustable Velcro strap pulled all the way tight there is still a little play but it’s not a problem because her thumb fits through the top loop and the bottle still nests comfortably in her palm. The bottle is designed for a quick squeeze to get water out but because her hands are too small to squeeze the bottle she’s modified her water intake by inverting the bottle and taking a quick pull of water by sucking; we haven’t experienced any problems with this style of bottle leaking… but she only uses it running and keeps it upright and can’t squeeze it. I typically tend to throw my Nathan bottles through the top rack of the dishwasher occasionally to sterilize and notice that this is not the easiest bottle to get out the harness but then again, I only fill her bottle with water so it’s not a problem because we don’t take it out very often. For reference, I am a petite woman of 5′ size 4-6 clothing with fairly small hands and it fits great in my hands. Probably not ideal for super large hands/grips and doesn’t carry much water but great for small runs with people with small to moderate size hand grips.

It’s not heavy, even completely full. It’s comfortable, no need to grip it with your hand, just strap it on and relax your hand. It won’t fall off. I haven’t had any problems with it leaking as long as I put the cap on carefully. The pocket is a good size for keys, ID, or a small protein bar. But I don’t think you could fit all that in there at the same time. It has really helped me on 4-6 mile length runs. Anything longer and I would carry two or get a bigger one, but I am running in FL heat so maybe in a less humid climate your water needs would be different. The Velcro on the strap closes very secure. It has never come undone on me. I have smallish hands but it has plenty on strap it would fit almost any size hand I think.

This water bottle has been a life saver for long runs. It is easy to put on and the amount of water is perfect even for super long runs, and marathons. I have recommended this bottle to all my girlfriends that are runners! The bottle is not in the way and you hardly notice it when running. You can fit tons of stuff in the pocket too, lady products, cards, chapstick, energy gels, tissue. It’s awesome!! Love the various colors!! Like the brand!! I have had mine for over a year and a girlfriend has had hers for a few months and they are used often and have done well. I hand wash and dry in a rack. The water squirts into your mouth when running so there is no twisting or sucking, perfect!

Comfortable fit for me (5’7″ woman) with regular sized hands as well as being adjustable and a great fit for my young daughters (4’8″) with children’s hands. No issues with leaking as reported by other users. The zip front section (which is well described in the seller description) is fine for a folded bill or two, one key (but not a whole key chain or large bundle of car keys). Just the right amount of hydration for a short 5km run on a cloudy 75 degree day. Wouldn’t expect it to be enough for a longer stint or hotter conditions.

I have had previous of these bottles and have lasted many months . However, this bottle leaked after just two uses, and as it was at the beginning of Covid lockdown rather than send it back i through it away and ordered a new one, it took about 6 weeks to arrive and again now after just about 4 uses the lid of this one is broken too. Such a shame as i was so happy with these drinking bottles for several years.
