Comparison points and tradeoffs
When comparing JEGS Oil Pressure Safety Switch | Shuts Off When Oil Pressure Drops Below 5 PSI | 1/8 “ NPT Male Thread | Three-Terminal Connection with other Oil Pressure options, use this source-backed detail as the primary discriminator: Category: Replacement Parts / Switches & Relays / Switches / Oil Pressure.
Use this second fact to evaluate the tradeoff: Product identity: JEGS Oil Pressure Safety Switch | Shuts Off When Oil Pressure Drops Below 5 PSI | 1/8 “ NPT Male Thread | Three-Terminal Connection. A third point to compare across alternatives is: 1/8 INCH NPT MALE THREAD for simple connection to engine block oil passage.
Alternative-selection boundary
Choose an alternative when its stated identifiers, application, package, or specifications better match the requirement; no unverified competitor claim is introduced here.

Cant say if it works well or not. It would need an adapter to work on a sbc with a performer manifold. It hits the manifold and wont allow it to tighten properly. Whit an HEI distributor being as large as they are the 2″ adapater jegs offers seems like it would hit the distributor , not sure, not trying. The screws to tighten would be a pain, getting a screwdriver in there to tighten them would be difficult, not impossible with an L shaped screw driver. Easier way would be to attach 3 , 6 inch wires to switch then attach those wirers to your harness using spade clips. If the screw in to the block part of the switch were say just 1 inch longer it would have worked perfect. As it is I had to order a different switch. My bad for not seeing the issue ahead of time, bad planning on my part.

This part was ordered as a replacement part for our generator. The price was good, although the shipping cost as much or more than the part.

It was perfect

Works as it should for a good price

used this as a control circuit for an electric fuel pump install. did the job and easy to install. I actually installed two pressure switches, one for the actual gauge and the other for the control circuit.
