Well-made, complete set of carb synch gauges. Seems to have just about any hardware hook up fitting needed to synchronize 4 carbs on just about any motorcycle. When tested, using a hand pump (pressure and vacuum) at room temperature, all gauges appeared to be working properly and accurately calibrated. There are hose clamps, to make sure that the connection to your carbs and fittings is airtight, but I really don’t see where they are needed. This set replaces an older name brand carb synch set (much higher priced), where one of the gauges never worked properly. Previously, only having three working gauges was ok as I only needed to synch two carbs at a time on a couple of twin cylinder bikes. But using my old set to synchronize 4 carbs at one time wasn’t possible. I also like the large easy to read dials on these gauges, which are much larger than my old set. This set comes with a sturdy hard case which will help prevent it from being destroyed in my well-packed garage.

If you ride an older bike like I do, The carbs sometimes just need a good syncing. This is a great tool to have around for that. Super easy to use. And they seem to be fairly accurate. Love the case they came in. And it came with all the hoses and attachments I needed for my bike. Very happy

My review of the DHA Motorcycle Vacuum Carburetor Synchronizer Carb Sync Gauge 4 Cylinder Compatible with BMW Honda Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki GS KZ XS CB 550 650 750, Carb Balancer Synchronization Gauge Tool Set.First of all this is a very nice setup. This kit comes with several adapters and hoses that make it compatible with a wide variety of motorcycle engines. The gauges seem well made and the adapters are solid. To use this kit you have to be able to “zero out” the gauges. Normally this would mean removing a small plastic plug on the face of each gauge and turning the small flat head screw. The problem is the adjustment screws for the individual gauges. On my kit 3 of the 4 adjustment screws were stuck and would not move. Without the ability to zero out the gauges they are useless. The hole in the gauge face is too small to get a large screwdriver in and a small screwdriver doesn’t have enough torque to move the screw. Compound this with the screws themselves. They are made of soft metal and one was beginning to deform due to the force I was using. To remedy this I was able to remove the plastic faces of the gauges and use a number 2 flat head screwdriver and free up the adjustment screws. If you look closely at the face of the gauge you will see a small notch at the top. Rotate the notch down to an indent in the gauge body at the bottom. Then you can pry the gauge face out of the housing. Once the face is removed you can use a larger screwdriver to free up the adjustment screw. Then replace the face and perform the adjustment with a small screwdriver to zero out each gauge. See my pictures for the location of the notch on the face. Also I have a picture of the plastic plug that can be removed to access the adjustment screw. Once you free up the screws and have the ability to adjust the gauges to zero you will have a very nice set of synchronization gauges.

All but one of the gauges arrived uncalibrated for my altitude. This is pretty normal where I live, but when I turned the synch screw on one of them that was incorrect, the needle won’t go low enough to set it to 0 . Thus, the meter can’t be used on anything with more than 3 cylinders, you’d have to synchronize them in batches.

These gauges didn’t work for me at all. There are no adjustments to zero them out and upon closer inspection the face plates are marked for things like cylinder compression and/or fuel pressure, wish I’d noticed that earlier. Trying to use this tool actually made my carb tune worse due to it’s inaccuracy. I did better just syncing them on the bench. I’d post a video of how bad these are but I just don’t care enough. Save your money, or buy a better tool. These are just junk designed to look like proper gauges. Sadly, I’m outside my return window or else these would definitely be going back.Zero stars.

After using this to tune my Yamaha V-max1200, it ran better than it has in years.
