The metal of the throttle housing is cheap so don’t overtighten. You also need to ensure that the little wire guide inside the throttle housing stays in place or it will pinch the throttle cable cause it to stick.

I purchased this for a 3hp mini bike.. the casting is pretty light but. It does the job. The biggest issue is that the cable is too short. The measurement in the description is for the inner cable not installed in the twist grip.Be warned as well that the barrel end of the cable is smaller than a typical bicycle brake cable, meaning that I had to enlarge the hole, which is very tricky. I used a round file in a cordless drill in reverse to do so. Don’t judge, it worked great.
