This battery was a direct replacement for the stock battery.It comes without posts but the posts on the old battery were easy to remove and re-use.Several months later, and all functions are working normally.I followed the replacement instructions shown on YouTube, and everything went flawlessly.

They need to remove the wording “36 Month Warranty” from this item description, as it falsely advertises something that will not be honored. My battery lasted only 18 months of the 36-month warranty period. I spoke with Autoplicity, who directed me to the manufacturer, ACDelco. When I contacted ACDelco, they were polite and even went online with me right to this page. They pointed out that Autoplicity is listed as a third-party retailer and confirmed they do not do business with Autoplicity, nor do they have any knowledge of Autoplicity’s battery inventory. Consequently, ACDelco clarified that any stated warranty would be Autoplicity’s responsibility, not theirs.I involved Amazon, and after about ten hours of chats and phone calls over a week, it became clear that ACDelco will not honor the warranty, Autoplicity will not honor the warranty, and Amazon is reluctant to issue a refund, insisting the responsibility lies with the other two parties—neither of which will take it. Buyer beware!

Knowing the reliability of the Delco battery brand and the cost at Amazon were determining factors for this purchase. Several of the ‘large auto parts retailers’ had the same item at a much higher price. It was a ‘no brainer’ to purchase from Amazon. Not concerned about a possible warranty issue, since it is a name brand item and most aftermarket suppliers of this brand will warranty the item if necessary. However, after having use Delco batteries for many years, it is highly doubtful that is should ever be an issue.The battery for purchased as a replacement for a late model Dodge Durango. The fitment was correct; however, installation was a bit of a chore. Not the fault of the batter type but with the OE design of the battery placement. The placement of this battery and the ‘primary battery’ is under the passenger seat. This unit is a ‘auxiliary’ battery for the ‘Stop/Start’ system for the vehicle.Highly recommend this unit if it satisfies your requirements. Delco is a brand for one of the major battery manufacturers and has a very good reputation in the aftermarket business.

The battery works well and all that, but the reason for 4 stars is that there were no screws included to attach the battery connections. I had to find some screws of the right size, then put spacers on them so they didn’t bottom out. A 25 cent thing for the manufacturer, but a whole day of messing around for me.

Great Auxiliary Battery for use with Mercedes E550. Very easy to install. The auxiliary battery for the E550 is in the trunk to the right of the spare tire. Great product and well packaged for protection.
