That said, who cares…it’s AC Delco and the right part number for my LT-1. Plus Amazon had the best price out there at the time. I normally switch to electric water pumps but this one is doing fine for a mechanical pump and the install was easy. Comes with the gaskets, this is NOT mentioned and saves a trip to the parts shop. You will need, however, one more O-Ring for the engine side of the water pump drive coupling (that O-Ring will be rock hard and crumble) It is FelPro P/N 407, sold on Amazon at 20 for $11.56, so you can give some away to your LT-1 friends! No one has them in stock and the only way to get one is in the timing cover seal kit. Or, if you have time…the dealer.

replaced leaking water pump on a 95 roadmaster with this one. Also ordered a separate rubber gasket that this doesn’t come with (I forget now which one – check buick forums or ssimpala forums for tips).Coupled with new hoses, clamps, sealer goop and gasket, did this job myself for first time – messy, but the part worked great for the next 6 months i had the car. Unless you are using performance parts, I recommend going with oem brands like this as they are usually better quality and are going to fit as they should.

You can’t go wrong with OEM ACDelco parts. Ordered this water pump to replace my old worn out one in my 1994 Cadillac fleetwood. Product came packaged great, looks great and fits perfect also does come with both mounting gaskets.
