Nice Strong Hook! I have this connected to a WARN10s. It is true that you’ll need to squish the metal rope hook a little. This is NOT a problem and easy to do.

This feels and looks like a quality winching tool. I got this discounted from Amazon because the package was damaged. I would have never paid the full price for this. I guess I got lucky because the hook I received was in mint condition, box was destroyed. The 2 things I do not like about this.. 1 I have to purchase separately a rope protection cover if I ever feel like I need one. 2 I have to carry another tool (snap ring pliers) in my road kit when I need to switch out hooks. Snap ring pliers may be another tool you have to purchase if you don’t own one to install this. I like the hook but the costs involved with it are a little ridiculous. Keep watch for another discounted “damaged” one if you feel you need to try out this bling.

Very well made but it’s grossly overpriced

Looks great. Well built. Everything I expected.

The cover for the hook installed fairly easy – used a brass punch and 16 ounce hammer to set the rivets. The pin for the rope requires snap ring pliers but is easy to access and rope attaches easily. Once installed, the hook pulls snug and flat against the fairlead. The setup I have is a hidden winch – mount by Vice Designs with a Warn Zeon Platinum 12S bolted to it. Nice, clean and efficient.

This hook is great. I have used both it and the flat link and the ultra hook gives you the best of both worlds. You can use the hook or insert a d ring for an even more secure solution. It also looks great on my Jeep.

I think these are over priced however when shopping for recovery gear I believe you should hold back. The build quality is good and looks like it’ll hold up over time. It’s nice to have this secured tightly up against the bumper instead of a hook hanging down.

Well built recovery tool. My concern is the snap ring, but I noticed Factor 55 sells 6 count snap ring spares.
