Incredible low center of gravity, weight in the right places. The bulge on mine I use to my advantage, use it to hang up and turn a 180 or a full circle if I choose. So if you know how to drive you can use it as a tool for crawling.

This one has the hump in it, but I can use it. Otherwise, is pretty beefy.
LJM –
The whole point in making this an aluminum part by Redcat for a Redcat Gen 8 was to make sure there is no hump on the bottom of a “skid” plate. I dont like the hump at all. Also, Redcat needs to clean out there machined threads throughout their aluminum parts. Lots of debris left inside the threaded holes. If someone made an aluminum skid that didnt have a hump in it, then I would buy that one and get rid of this part….but know one does, so I am stuck with it.

Not all the holes were tapped but I made it work. Not a big fan!
