I’ve been a mechanic for 40 years. This is the first exhaust system that actually was a perfect fit, and it utilitarian interchangeable I would use this again

Price was right. One of the welds looks a bit sketchy but overall the steel feels pretty solid. Paperwork indicates a 5 year warranty. But contact info for claim is uncertain. Fit perfect. Follow the youtube videos for removing transmission cross brace. Use penetrating oil and a big impact wrench or heat to get the old one out/

This was purchased for the Gen 1 Chevy Cruze. I have the 2011 1.4T RS model with the 6MT. Everything went ok except for when it came time to join the two pieces together. It’s a slip in type setup and was about 1/8 of an inch too short, and I couldn’t adequately slip them together and clamp them tight. I had to go to the local auto parts store to get an additional clamp and a 2″x2″ diameter sleeve in order to properly join them together. Put the sleeve in, then both clamps on each side of the join, and I was off to the races. All in all, I’m happy with the parts and packaging was exceptional. I just think there may have been an error when this part was made. I highly recommend putting some anti-seize paste on all the studs in case you have to remove them later down the road. As for the P0420 code that many talk about, mine is still there, but I don’t think it has anything to do with this part, and I will need to troubleshoot further to narrow down that issue. Power and noise were all good on my shakedown drive.
