I knew when I purchased it that it might be a shy too big in the cutout but I couldn’t find my size anywhere else. It fit the cutout fairly well but the lid would not close evenly after installing so we sanded the lid edge around one corner and that worked. This is not because of their manufacturing but due to the 1/16” off in sizing. The one thing I am concerned about is the lip where the lock latch secures, it seems a bit small to hold the latch. But the material was not easy to sand down so maybe it will hold up. :). In any case I’m happy to have that opening closed now!

was exactly what we ordered and received it on timeeasy to install only down side was only received 1 key for the lock

This is quite flimsy but serves the purpose. It’s not going to keep someone out even if it had two locks.

This was a replacement door for our RV. The dimensions listed are incorrect. I took a chance ordering it because it appeared the size I needed in the picture. The correct size is approximately 12×8. It fits perfectly!

I hate this access door with the intensity of one thousand suns. The locking mechanism doesn’t work smoothly. The door shuts as it should, but the lock won’t turn easily. It doesn’t turn well when it’s 70 and sunny, but it’s especially infuriating when it’s 0 degrees out and I’m freezing my fingers off trying to turn the (insert every curse you know) key. I would pay $500 to never see this cursed door again. Hate hate hate hate hate it. Save your sanity and blood pressure and buy anything else.

As others have said, this is really about 12″ x 8″ size, yet fit my need perfectly. But did not come with enough butyl tape to go around door….lukily, I had spare tape! Also, the door does not shut completely around the edges (flimsy) and thus gets lots of dust inside the compartment. Looking for better door now after just a year.
