Made the mistake of using an old nylon rope to pull something. It snapped and caused a small dent in some sheet metal.Learn from us stupid people and get a good rope that’s rated for the job.This rope seems to be of very good quality. May never need it, but it’s worth it’s weight in gold if you do.

I put it to the test with a 12000 pound winch, two snatch blocks, and a big tree that I ripped out of the ground and it didn’t break. Eyelets will fit 3/4 shackles, or a 3/8 hook.

I bring these along with me in my 23 jeep wrangler because they are small and light weight. Yes I’ve used these as tree savors and also as winch extensions to help me get out of some jams. I took out the metal piece and made it a soft shakel loop instead. If you watch a video on how to re thread the loop you can make the loops bigger and it works great. A lot cheaper than those longer thicker ones sold on here that i also have.

Winch extension rope enables extra length to reach a stuck vehicle or to double the pulling power by using a Ring and 2X Soft Shackles.My only concern is will the cable ends cut rope material under an extreme pull – time will tell.Still glad to have these accessory winch items in my reserve.

Used to uproot a 14inch (measured at 4 ft) spruce tree.Had nice big roots. Snatch blocked to another larger tree, with an 8000lb winch, and the rope held no problem.The metal eyes bent under the strain. That’s the only issue I had.Have used it a few more time with no issues.
