Semi-“crushable” to fit into your backpack. Very good waterproofing to keep your legs dry in dew-heavy fields. I’ve used it for 2 seasons now in multiflora rose, greenbrier, and blackberry, and it has held up fine.

I purchased these and the standard Dan’s chaps and ended up returning these. I liked the quality of both, but while trying these on, I could tell that they would be a bit noisier when contacted each other than the standard chaps. The standard Dan’s chaps kept my pants dry just fine walking through brush with heavy dew.
