I’ve been very happy with the Volant CAI in my 02 Chevy Duramax. Finally had to replace the filter after about 80k miles. Not quite the 100k stated, but it’s seen lots of abuse so I’ll let that slide. If someone thinks they have a better product, I’d try it if you give it to me. Otherwise I’ll stick to what has worked so far.

I installed the cold air kit about 6 years ago. Although I haven’t put 100 000 miles on it it was getting dirty ( driving around the farm/gravel roads ) I decided to replace the filter. It has done a great job so far and held up great. Even at the cost of the replacement filter, it ends up being more cost efficient then constantly replacing a cheap filter.
