This is a good system, color match is what you’d expect, there is no one paint going to be 100% as batches change daily, but this is as good as it could get. Not for the faint at heart, you need to follow the directions and all will be fine.

We purchased a Lexus just off lease, and wanted body side moldings. Unfortunately for us, the white Pearl moldings were discontinued, odd for a two-year old. Anyway, purchased the grey set, some flex primer (for plastic parts), and this wonderful paint kit.Following instructions to the letter, each coat applied was flat, and even, applying thin, even coats to build both the base, and mid-coats. After this, I color matched to the vehicle for a spot-on match.Next day, I ran a tack cloth over each piece, and then applied a thin tack coat, waiting until hand slick (10 min.) and three more full wet coats, perfect. I let dry a couple of days before applying. The base and clear coat are a high solid product, so adequate ventilation, and a good mask (I use a dual charcoal) are necessary.
