Works great. At first glance, connecting the hoses looked straight forward process without looking at the instructions, but apparently I installed the hoses incorrectly, and it will NOT flow if installed incorrectly . Luckily it came with a diagram, makes installing it extremely simple. The whole job took less than 10 minutes to install and the open and close valve works properly without any issues. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants to control the heater core flow.

What else can I say but I love this thing. I wanted a bypass valve instead of a traditional Ford style block valve. This thing is very well designed and functioning as it loops the coolant through the bypass area. When I go to car shows, hardly anyone notices it as it is tucked under my heater blower but sometimes I point it out as a conversation piece and people always express interest in it. Especially when it is hot weather. I don’t want any hot “coolant” flowing through the heater core. When I first installed it, I obviously allowed coolant to flow through so I could fully fill the heater core. One little quirk is that the cabling portion is not really strong enough to operate the unit open, close, open, close, while the car is running and under full water pressure. It is best to shut the car off and choose open or closed and then start the car back up and continue your journey.

I wish it had come with the cable as a combo!

My husband is not very happy with this item at all! He says it’s a plastic piece of junk. Thankfully we could return it and get a full refund. Don’t recommend… do not buy!!

I love having g A/C again after so many years with the wrong part. The bypass works excellent and the install was as easy as can be.
