This direct fit replacement for your stock Oil Fill Cap completes any Catch Can installation by diverting clean, or fresh, incoming air through this unit.
The Elite Engineering Clean-Side Oil Separator is specially designed to complement your oil catch can. Although approximately 90-95% of the oil ingestion via the intake air charge enters via the “Dirty” or “foul” side of the PCV system, the other 5-10% enter via back flow through the factory “clean” or “fresh” side intake tube. This occurs mainly when accelerating or at wide open throttle when intake manifold vacuum drops to zero and crankcase pressure is allowed to build.
Our Clean-Side Oil Separator traps and removes these oil vapors before ingestion, while retaining 100% MAF metered air. The result is improved vehicle performance and fuel economy. Replacing your stock oil fill cap with our Separator retains an emissions compliant close system.
