My Level 2 cable didn’t have any kind of protection for the plug, so this cover seems to fit the bill nicely. The cover was easy to install and fits nice and snug on the plug like a bug in a rug.

I recently purchased the upgraded J1772 EV charger port cover, and I must say it does its job very well. The quality is good, with decent materials. Installation was simple, and it works exactly as described.One of the features that caught my attention most was its soft, waterproof silicone design, which made it incredibly comfortable to use. The easy-open and easy-close mechanism allows for quick and effortless access, and the protective dust cover keeps my Jeep Wrangler 4XE charger clean and secure.However, the cord is a bit tight for my charger. I would recommend the seller update their design with a longer cord so it can fit various types of chargers.It’s a good product that offers good value, but it could be better.

Accidentally ripped off my 2024 Prius plug-in cord cover. I’m glad. This is far superior. It is pliable and fits snugly over the end, so it’s almost (if not) completely waterproof. It also seems more secure than the original cover. I tend to just hang my cord on a nearby bush when not in use and have zero problems with the cover coming off or the connector strap coming loose, even when it brushes against leaves and small branches.
