The tarp clips seem durable and well-designed, and they have firmly held any fabric-like material I tried, especially if the fabric has an edge binding. The bungies are stretchy and seem robust. The carabiners are the typical cheap carabiners that will stop working if a lateral force is applied and the gate doesn’t mate exactly.On the downside, there is no convenient way to attach the bungies to the clips. The listing shows the bungee cord passing through the hole in the clip, but I am unaware of any way to do this. I guess I could use the carabiners between the clip and the bungee, but that seems clunky. Overall, this product is borderline 4-star/5-star, but I think I will use the clip a lot while we are camping, so I gave it a 5-star rating primarily based upon the low cost and value.
