This is a latching relay so you need to reverse the polarity of the switching terminals to open and close this relay. I feel the description didn’t describe this very well. The relay works but I can’t use it for my application.

I recently installed a 12 V hundred amp latching relay battery disconnect solenoid in my RV, I must say, I am very impressed with it’s performance and reliability. From the moment I received the unit, the quality of the solenoid is high quality metal and feels pretty robust. Also had all of the hardware making the installation easy process. It also had a diagram on it making it easy for someone not deeply experienced with electrical systems. 100 amp rating is more than enough for most applications I’ve had zero issues with it under heavy loads allows me to easily disconnect and reconnect the battery to prevent draining it unnecessarily. Latching mechanism is energy efficient and doesn’t require continuous power to stay in position. Overall I highly recommend this battery disconnect relay
