You must do modifications to make it work

It fits correctly on my Leer 100XR cap, and replaces the central thumb button that came originally. The one downside is that it came with a soft foam gasket backed with adhesive, and it has two little nubs that prevent it from getting flush to the glass. (It looks like they were designed to fit into holes in the glass and keep the handle aligned. My cap has no such holes.) When I tightened it down as far as seemed safe, the gasket tore. And it’s still not attached firmly enough to keep the handle base from twisting when I use the handle. I’m going to grind off the nubs and replace the foam gasket with a better adhesive to hold it solidly in place.

The installation was a hassle, and it feels flimsy. I expected better durability, especially for the price. Disappointed with this product!
