Cable and lever work like they should, but the markings for choke and throttle were upside down and on the wrong side, so they didn’t line up with how it actually worked. The picture is how they should look, but not what I received.

Same as other reviewers have commented. Apparently there are two versions of this part: the cable exits the top or it exits the bottom.In my case I had to mount it upside down for it to work. Also it does not hold the throttle position at all so constant adjustments are required.

Part fit fine, works fine. The image was installed upside down on the wrong side. If you look at both photos closely, you can see the rounded flange at the bottom of the part. EDIT – IN ALL FAIRNESS seeing how the item is already installed and really a monetary rip off. A refund or 50% REFUND should be warranted. All of the reviews say the same thing yet you keep putting them out there and making too much money off of them. What say you AMAZON/SELLER???

As others have noted, the unit is upside down to what is required. Just goes to prove I should’ve read the reviews and comments prior to ordering. Now I’ll be ordering through Cub Cadet direct, and waiting.

The part did work as advertised. The nomenclature was printed upside down; however, it can only mount one way. I’ll be curious to see how long this part lasts under usage.
