Pricey, but there’s no better way to get a replacement – the Starcraft shuttle bus I acquired had the motor system bypassed because the original module had an internal short. This one is newer and uses different wire colors, and the wire harness provided to replace the motor was not a match for my motor (which is just a common Power Window Motor btw). The motors original wire harness was fine though so I just used that.Pros:- Waterproof design, circuit board encased in epoxy- More indicator lights so you can tell exactly what it’s thinking- No limit switches are actually needed, because the high load detection reliably figures out when it can’t open or close any further- Adds Auto-Reopen Null Limit switch option, if you didn’t already have one (I didn’t). This is wired just like the open limit switch. The module normally detects a sudden high load when closing and automatically reopens, so as not to injure a person in the way of the doors. But when the doors are already more than 80% closed, a sudden high load is more likely to be the doors hitting their fully closed position, so you don’t want it to reopen. The Auto Reopen feature is thus “nulled” past this 80% limit or wherever you put the switch.- Includes on-board swappable 15A fuse- Variable cutoff limit by adjusting a screw (potentiometer)Cons:- Encased in epoxy means there’s no repairing it if it breaks or has an internal short (the way my last one died)- it’s literally your only option out there right now- Adjusting the cutoff load limit didn’t seem to do anything, so the range of adjustment is probably too narrow
