The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is developed to enhance off-idle torque, from 800 RPM to approximately 3,000 RPM. It incorporates a patented helix bore, which causes a spinning action of the incoming air-charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. This improved air-charge carries all the way into the combustion chamber, producing a super-atomized mixture, which produces tremendous gains in mid-range power and overall combustion efficiency for better fuel economy.

Installed on a 95 silverado z71 pickup truck with the 350 tbi.installation was easy except the fuel lines sucked to get off the back of the tbi.my truck has stock size tires with semi aggresive tread runs very good and i went from 14 ish mpg to 15.2-15.8 depending on what im doing.i check my mpg every time i fill up i run it close to empty then check it every other day cause i drive alot and i picked up a solid 1-2 mpg.Truck has better throttle response it idles a little harder but not bad at all was well worth the money spent on it if you have a tbi vehicle get this item!

Part worked perfect! And was able to be installed in around 30-45 min. The fellow was super excited when he saw the red part first when tearing open his HBD gift and again to see his gas mileage rising almost immediately after putting it in!

This spacer worked very, i have a Throttle Body Injected 350 V8 GMC engine and this did indeed improve the throttle response. It does accelerate faster. I was unable to get dynamo numbers unfortunately. But i did notice a decrease in fuel consumption as well as a slightly improved fuel economy. Good product overall.

Bolt-on parts rule #1: they don’t. This is a high quality part that coupled with cool air intake had a substantial boost in power and response. However, the instructions tell you to loosen fuel lines (no fun), pull it up, and insert the spacer. Bad idea. Plan on pulling the throttle body, clean it and the gasket surfaces well, and installing it properly. If instructions did not pretend a short cut is okay, I would give it five stars. 1989 GMC K1500

Loved it did what it said it was designed to do increase POWER!! And the only thing I can say that needs to be improved…MORE STICKERS!!

This is a definite must have for your vehicle. It gave my 30 year old truck a solid power and torque boost. Plus better mpg. I’ve had it for a long time and it has paid off for itself just on the gas saving. I recommend it, they now come black in color so don’t expect a red one.

It increased the torque but decreases gas mileage, failing to deliver what was promised. Paid to have it installed, then paid to have it removed. I like how my van runs and drives better without it.
