In the pictures it shows elastic all around the “perimeter” so you can get a good fit but there is only two elastics from side to side to hold it on. The material just overhangs on all sides and doesn’t tuck up underneath the “lid” and doesn’t fit at all like the picture. Very misleading. I’m returning it.

This arm rest cover looks good and fits well on my 2015 Forester. It wrinkles just a bit when you first put it on, but after a week or so it smooths out and you can’t even really tell it’s just a cover. To install it, I unscrewed my existing cover, ripped the old vinyl off leaving only the foam, and then installed the cover. It’s a really good fix especially for the price.

I bought this for the arm rest in my 2016 subaru forester. It fits, but barely. So you see the stitching around the edge and you can tell that it is just a cover. The elastic straps underneath also impead the ability for the arm rest to slide forward and back and it gets hooked on the storage pieces on the underside. Unfortunately I will be returning this. The quality, look and material is actually rather nice so it’s really a bummer.

I managed to tear my 2016 Subaru Forrester’s console cover “leather” pretty horrendously: a big V-shaped rip that accordioned the fabric forward as it went.I followed the directions from a guy on YouTube to remove and disassemble the console lid (search for “Replace Worn Subaru Center Console Cover for $20 in 10 Minutes”). First I used Gorilla Tape to pull the old fabric back where it needed to be and to smooth it down the best I could. Then I pulled the new cover on and kept adjusting it until it was even all around, and reassembled the lid with the elastic straps secured under the tracks (so the console cover would still slide forward & back per design).This was a super-inexpensive fix for a dumb mistake, and I think it looks great.

Fits good on my 17 Forester and looks good, I have 2 big dogs and they step on this every time they get in or out of the car, had a piece of denim to protect before but this looks and fits much better! I would buy again if needed!

For some reason, the vinyl material melted on our car armrest. Purchase this to cover it up and it is perfect. It’s nice and tight and the color matches well. Looks so much better now. Very easy to put on. Also thought it was a good value for the money and is comfortable.

Impressed with this it fits quite well and color matches! The only ding is that it has black piping around edge which is wrong but no one will notice.
