It fits and to mower runs great again. Thanks
Booger! –
My CC30H Cub Cadet misfired, would run awhile and stall. Changed spark plug, examined carburetor (clean as a whistle) changed gas. This coil was the fix. I noticed this is a revised coil (note the “A” added at the end of the part number) so I’m thinking the original design was defective. Gap for coil to magneto is .016 to .024, per Cub Cadet service. I used plastic milk carton pieces for gap. Guessing there’s probably a service bulletin out there for the original coil. Anyway, hope this helps someone in deciding to buy this coil. No problems with seller and received the new coil earlier than expected.
doghouse –
cub cadet would run for a few minutes and then spit and sputter until it eventually died, over and over and over. Changed spark plug, cleaned carburator and changed oil and air filter. Drained gas and screw on carburator to drain water if any. Nothing worked. Ordered this Ignition coil and gapped it on engine at .020 and presto the darn thing runs like a brand new lawn mower. Couldnt be happier. My mower is about 10 years old and I think the old coil just ran out of juice. This is a fix if your mower is doing the same.
