I bought this for my 2017 Crosstrek. It came packaged rather nice. Surprisingly, opening the box revealed one tab broken off like other reviews. Decided to go forward with the installation anyways. First thing to notice after the tab was that the center piece that holds the emblem was mounted crooked. Removing it shows they cut the grate to get it to fit so the cut outs were crooked too. Luckily, I needed the other part that doesn’t come mounted for mine and it fit better and covered the crooked cuts. Installation of this piece, though, showed that one of the raised bosses for the screw was made short and the supplied screws didn’t reach. I keep various extra screws so I found some that work and moved forward. Mounting it was somewhat easy. The back of the grill is a bit deeper than the OEM so there was less room for my hands behind it. The bottom tabs don’t really lock into place like OEM but after installing the screws, it seems pretty secure. Overall, after a few hours longer than it should have taken, it looks decent.

I was a little nervous about ordering a rep grille. Tried to find the official Subaru sports mesh grille but they don’t sell those anymore and impossible to find. This was the next best thing. Glad I did it. Well worth the money and great quality.

Is the grille supposed to come with an “adapter” of sorts to connect to the logo? i have a 2014 subaru Impreza and my logo is too big with no attachments that came with. Lookd good but I need the logo on as well.

Does anyone know how to remove the emblem from this grill? I cannot fit a screwdriver behind it.
