Andrew Carnabuci –
These are OEM Land Rover parts from a reputable Land Rover supplier, so 5/5 stars. But I think the more important part of this review is WHY you may need this thing:If your Land Rover has a lever-type shifter, as opposed to a rotary knob, that puts the car in P and R and N and D, and you have noticed that when you shift the shifter to D, the D icon does not appear on your dash display, or if you are driving in D and suddenly the truck shifts into N and you lose power, or any other issue related to having difficulty engaging P R N or D, but the car operates fine when in those modes, your issue is most likely that the linkage that connects the rod projecting from the bottom of the shifter down through the floor of the truck down to the gearbox, which allows the motion of the shifter to cycle your transmission gearbox into those modes is broken, rusted or seized. You can fix it VERY EASILY with this kit, which contains every part you need. You can do this yourself, if you have a 13mm spanner/socket and a way to get under the car; if not, bring this to any mechanic, and swapping out the busted linkage for this new one should run you one hour labor maximum. This is not an issue that requires dealership service or Land Rover specialists; any old mechanic with a lift can do this for you.Hopefully some confused LR3 owners might end up here, and if you are looking to fix the problem described above, I can confirm that this is everything you need to fix it.

20 min. fix and I was back on the road. Called the dealers and they tried to tell me I needed a $4800.00 repair. Do your home work,
KA –
Had an issue with LR3 slipping from Drive to Neutral. And eventually could not shift to R. Assumed it would require a replacement of the selector assembly or worst a transmission. Happy to have installed this linkage and restored the smooth function of shifting. This should be done on all trucks over 150k.
