This was the right product number for use in a 2003 Lexus GS430. Be careful of what you see on ebay as I found many inaccuracies with part numbers and fitment. 90311-A0001 is the correct part number. The hard part is the Lexus/Toyota sites don’t use the same name so searching for for Crankshaft oil seal didn’t provide any items on several Lexus parts sites. Always double check the number with other sites to make sure. The old seal is a BH4031F and that is very useful for finding aftermarket seals. Use a taped screwdriver to get the seal out. There is a twisted steel wire in the seal and makes it very rigid. the wiper portion next to the crankshaft is where you want to attack it from or the outer edge.To install the new seal you can add some grease to the crank and outer seal area however I did not. Instead I was lucky to spot my sears craft mans shop vac and the hose connector which was the perfect size to tap the new seal in using a rubber mallet.Went in very easily and you can see my photos of the connector and factory manual pages on how to replace the seal.
