For whatever reason, Toyota did not included the tire pressure display in the dash screen for the 2019-2021 RAV4. This TPMS receiver module comes from China and arrived in 11 days. It only took about 15 minutes to install, this includes removing and replacing the passenger side rear window trim panel. After plugging it in, it just took a minute for the new tire pressure screen to display the pressure for each tire. I am disappointed that it only displays pressure in kPa, and there is no setting available to change it to PSI; but I’ll get used to it. (The tire pressure label on the RAV4 B-pillar does show both PSI and kPa pressures.) I just need to remember that when the display shows a pressure value other than the recommended that the PSI to kPa conversion is 1 PSI to 6.9 kPa. I’m glad to now have the pressure displayed on my dash screen instead of having to look for it on the Toyota app.

Installed as shown on the instructional video – and – WOW – detail pressure readings from each tire!As described, only shows KPa not PSI – I can live with that.I have graduated from the idiot light!

If you’re uncomfortable removing interior trim panels, take this thing to a car audio installation shop and pay them to do it. Also, I wasn’t quite sure where to attach the device once it was connected, so I stuck it on the inside of the quarter panel. It’s probably fallen off by now, but it isn’t too heavy to dangle.I was frustrated to learn that my 2020 Rav 4 hybrid didn’t display individual tire pressures, just a generic low pressure warning. I read about this device online and ordered one. Once installed, it worked as advertised. It displays tire pressure in kPa, not PSI, but once you know what the reading should be, it doesn’t really matter (there’s a sticker on the inside edge of the driver-side door that lists recommended pressures in kPa and PSI). The tire pressure information is shown on the dashboard display, not the infotainment screen. You have to scroll through several screens, but the tire info is there.

En un inicio dió un fallo, pero era debido a que la goma del adhesivo, no es suficientemente fuerte. Había que asegurarlo muy bien. Y funciona a la perfección, adicional a eso, la empresa me dió asesoría inmediata.

The tire pressure monitoring system works great, but it’s not in PSI
