Definitely protects the fridge and gives a bit of extra insulation. Not quite as nice as the Engle cover I have on the Engle fridge with the zip close feature. I don’t need all the pockets and would have preferred 1 large one to accommodate the battery instead of 4 identical pockets.There is a fair bit of looseness so I added a 1/2” more insulation on the top.

This is the perfect sized fridge for our weekend camping trips. It’s really power efficient and I haven’t had any issues with car battery drain. I run it on the IceCo battery pack and it will often run for 24hrs without needing to be recharged. It’s now used for soccer games and day trips because it’s so much lighter than our cooler!

The pockets are great to hold the cords when not in use. We set things on top of the fridge in the car and it keeps the top from getting scratched. I am sure it helps with insulation but I am not able to quantify that.

This is a perfect fit for the ICECO APL20. I’ve only taken it on one trip but it holds its shape well, it seems durable. All the holes and windows align to allow full function, access and visibility.
