I bought this lawn mower in front of Home Depot with the “Used” tag. I found out that it wouldn’t start without using starter fluid. So I researched and found out that Koehler has an “auto choke”. I tried to take it all apart and free the spring up, and it worked for a season. But after sitting all winter, the mower wouldn’t run again. I looked this up on Amazon and found this part. My 14 year old son replaced the auto choke and varoom! The mower started on the first pull and ran without a single miss for 30 minutes as we finished cutting the grass.

As it turned out, I live in an area where it gets cold in the winter so the gas sat in my lawnmower over the winter ( I should have drained out the tank but didn’t). Fortunately, I found a YouTube video that explained pulling off the carb and cleaning out the jets and internal passageways with carb cleaner. Once that was done, I added this new auto choke and it idled just the way I wanted it to and ran exceptionally well. As for the auto choke, it worked as intended on my Poulan Kohler XT675 lawn mower and the price was good compared to others online. This looked and worked like an OEM part. Awesome…

After having problems not starting i looked up on you tube. That choke needed replacement. Easy replacement now starts great. Good price. Recommend to anyone.

I bought a carburetor two air filters hoses spark plug and fuel filter for half the price way overpriced
