- Installation Instructions – 1 Prepare a 2-wire plug and pigtail for the alternator. 2 Cut off the pickup plug. Connect the black/white striped wire from the pickup to the red wire from the alternator. 3 Connect the pickup’s white with red stripe wire to the other alternator wire and butt the two together.

Could have been much better if the bracket wasn’t out of square. The welds get in the way of the mounting platform on the engine. I had to grind welds and bend it into a somewhat square alignment.A better set up jig would be the solution.
