A little disappointed in this box. From the pictures is shows a box coming close to the edge of the seat, that is not so. There is a decent gap from the box to the edge of the seat that could have been used to create more storage room. So if you are looking to maximize your under seat storage this box is not for you.

I installed in a F150 super cab. I drilled additional holes in the back and attached with bolts in the holes provided for covering the small built in storage. This creates a more secure fit. However, after using for a few months, I would prefer a box that fit under the 2/3 bench seat, so when I folded up the 1/3 section I had the full floor to sit items on. I have not found such a storage box however. So after a few weeks, I cut it apart and used the a part of the section I cut out as a splice and made a box that fits under the 2/3 section of the back seat leaving the passenger side floor available for large items.

EZ install. Perfect fit in all directions. Fills the under seat area between the face of the seat bracket and the front of the seat for a finished look. Good “box”.

This storage container has helped me keep my truck organized and I wish I had bought it sooner. Fits nicely under the seat and holds a fair amount. If you work out of your truck, this is a “must have”.

I have a A/C converter on the passenger side and even with the cover removed the tray doesn’t sit flat against the seat brackets on that side. I had a plastic cross bar under the driver’s side that per the instructions you are to remove but left it as a spacer so the unit would fit flatter against the converter and the driver’s side. I mounted with longer metric bolts instead of the cables. I drilled a hole for the passenger side where there wasn’t one and bolted into the seat bracket there with a spacer. Bolting it in make the unit solid and sit as tight as possible to the back. Still flush with the front of the rear seat so happy there. This tray provides plenty of storage for straps, hitch, ice scraper.
