This was a great tool for tracking down which of the electronic ignition components was giving me the issue. Spent hours swapping parts between two similar model Honda dirt bikes trying to troubleshoot the problem. The parts would work on both bikes but the one bike still had no spark. About 15 minutes with the VPA and I found the bad trigger sensor. No volts showed up when kicking it and lots of volts on the good bike. I took it off thinking I may be able to adjust the gap. Fixed round holes so no luck. I cleaned it off and bolted it back on. Now I had voltage on the multimeter with the VPA. Hooked everything back up and had spark. Runs great now!. I don’t know if it was bad ground or what but the tool helped me to know which component to work with. Highly recommended.

Worked perfect and fit my meter

Tried to read pulse voltage on conventional voltmeter and got no reading. Bought this and everything came to light. It read the pulse perfectly and I was able to fix the problem. Without this I would have had to replace parts until I found the problem.

I tested several different brands and the RMSTATOR was by far the most accurate for peak voltage. Very fast response time as well.

Using for testing peak output voltage from ignition control module to the primary side of coils (CDI: capacitive discharge ignition) on honda motorcycle. Using it plugged into an old Fluke 77 miltimeter. Works good. Good piece of kit. Actually RMStator stuff overall is good stuff. Like ’em.
