Clearly the engineer that designed this was not the one who signed off on the instructions. This is a great tool but the instructions may have been written by a 12 year old as they are missing the part where they tell you how to correctly assemble and use the masking machine.Hopefully I’ll get some TCP compensation for this…The spring goes under the blade and the paper with attached tape goes between the two, this holds the loaded paper after it’s been cut.The proper way to load it is pictured…in my picture, not the vendors picture. Once properly assembled and loaded it works great and really cleans up the dreadful task of masking glass and surrounding panels.

Missing hardware. Some holes not to correct size. Fasteners are inferior quality. For the cost this is probably fine. We’ll see how well it work soon.

This works great – product did not come with instructions to put together so that made it a little difficult. Also could not figure out how to get tape to stick to paper roll because no instructions. Get on YouTube and watch video – it is actually very simple once you figure it out. Papered every window in house (for painting) in the time it normally takes me to paper one window!

The masking machine came with no assembly or operating instructions. Fortunately Y Tube had both and after learning how to string the paper and tape in the machine it operates smoothly.

This is a great machine once you figure out how to assemble it. As others have said, the assembly instructions are very poor. You would be ahead by NOT following the instructions and just use the pictures in the listing as a guide. There is no mention of the long spring or where it goes. (It clips onto the sides of the cutting bar). The overall quality is very good. Once assembled properly, it works great.

I found no assembly instructions. Put together found there to be 2 left sides and no right side. extra parts not needed. Short parts that were needed. Very poor product would not recommend to anyone.
