I ordered, and received these chains, a few days prior to the arrival of my new garden tractor. I wanted the chains to be as tight as possible as this has worked well on my other tractors and trucks. I removed the tires, let all of the air out to make them as small as possible, and these chains were about 5 inches too short. Absolutely no way these were going to fit my tires. My tires are 23×10.5×12 Kenda Turf 505’s.I was expecting to have to remove a link or two because most of the chains I own have been made a little long. Not these! Anyone can make a mistake, and maybe my tires are different than others, but now the hassle of sending these back is a real pain.UPDATE: I was finally able to get the chains on. I bought two turnbuckles to try to tighten the chains enough to get the latch secured. So, with no air, and turnbuckles, and a lot of effort, they finally fit. In my opinion it would have been a lot easier to just add a few links at the ends that could be cut off after installation if needed.

We attached to our lawn mower because we added a snow plowing attachment. They work great

I was a little skeptical having bought similar tire chains on line in the past, and was really pleased by the quality and ease of installation these provided. Unlike some other less expensive models, these are well made and have 19 cross chains which provide even, consistent spacing around the entire circumference of the tire (others have large gaps, especially where they fasten).I’m very pleased with these and would recommend them!

Wrong size. Amazon had me return them and gave me refund. They looked heavy duty. They were just 14 inches too short.
