Used these for repairs to thread damage to the block from faulty roller rocker arm assemblies on a 2003 Buick Century… Far better than a helicoil and a permanent repair. Works flawlessly now. Note that this item is to specifically deal with this issue on a GM. The similar kit will not work…

The Time Sert kit was very well machined , instruction sheet very simple and to the point and worked perfect, my 2003 3.4 Olds was back on the road in a day.

A little pricey, but definitely worth it. It takes a major issue and turns it into an easy repair! Used it to fixed a pulled rocker bolt hole on a 3.4l in a 2008 Equinox. Still cheaper than replacing the head!

Sooo much easier than helicoils. Worked great and I’ve repaired 8 rocker bolt holes so far and the included tools still work like new. If you need more inserts than what comes in the kit, make sure you order the correct inserts. It seems the inserts with this kit are specific for this application. I had extra inserts that the depth and threads match but the shoulders were slightly larger than the inserts in this kit. Those larger shoulders won’t pass through the hole that the bit in this kit makes.

I have a 2004 Venture 3.4L. the #4 exhaust rocker fastener stripped out on the interstate. I limped back home, ordered this kit and the next day I was back on the road. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. I suggest getting a tap wrench if you don’t have one.

This kit was a life saver and is an excellent repair kit for GM rocker arms.

This included everything but the drill (duh…) and the counter sink. Was able to fix the rocker arms on the cursed rendezvous (they’re all cursed) and now it drives… not very well, but even at factory new these monstrosities were never very good
