Many reviews indicate that this product does not give you a high gloss shine and cannot be sanded. I struggled to find a positive review. I received this as part of a paint set I purchased from a company a couple of years ago. After painting and then applying the clear, it didn’t shine very well. I then wet sanded and buffed it and for the life of me, I could not get a good finish. I assumed it was something i was doing wrong, but it turns out its the product. I’m an idiot for not doing more research before buying this product a second time so its on me, but I didn’t notice that I couldn’t return it. Oh well, lesson learned. The paint I bought was supposed to be a perfect match for my cars paint color and it didn’t match at all. Touch Up direct sent me another can, which was a little better but still didn’t match. I’ve totally lost my faith in this company.

Used this to coat my 3d printed items to make them look shiny, it doesn’t take alot of coats to have a good shiny surface it also protects them from sunfade on the shelf near my window, it is very strong smelling so make sure to wear a respirator

It’s a terrible clearcoat, but if you need to strip paint, THIS is your product! It has magical powers to turn your paint into a gel-like consistency, making it super easy to remove with a razor blade or paint scraper. AND, it will remain in that gel-like state for MANY DAYS!! So as a paint stripper, it’s a TERRIFIC PRODUCT and should be marketed as such. As a clearcoat though, it sucks rocks.

This finish lays on in an even, self-leveling coat that dries to the touch in just a few minutes and, so far, seems to be both durable and beautiful. The applicator can is definitely a higher grade than your average spraypaint can, with a rotatable head that lets you shape your spray fan to suit your needs. Will definitely order again!
