Got this cable setup quickly and easily in our Jeep CJ7 project. Cable seems to be good quality and came with all the ends and little brackets needed to install. Will follow up if issues arise.

The offy 4bbl intake on a 258cid (4.2L) inline 6 in my CJ-7 turns the carb/tbi sideways so a linkage rod can’t be used for the throttle valve on the TF-999 automatic transmission. This cable was just long enough to connect to the carb linkage and connect to the TV linkage so that when the throttle is depressed, the cable pulls on the throttle valve on the transmission. This is how you adjust the shift points for a Torqueflite transmission.The cable could be about a foot longer for better routing, but is long enough as it is to get the job done.
