In the process of putting ape hangers on my Electraglide the steering locked up with the switch removed. I put the switch back on and it would not release. I took the entire contraption off and fiddled with it for probably an hour. The service manual recommends a tool from Harley that is like 90.00 but none in stock. I took a chance on this and in three seconds the problem solved. It appears well made and will last longer than me. Well worth the money. A huge time saver. Great item for the Harley tool kit.

If you have a touring Harley and need to remove the ignition for any reason don’t do it without having this tool. Once the faring is off and the fork lock engages you’ll need this to unlock it. It saved me a lot of time and money

Worked great first try lined my ignition right up dont take your ignition switch out unless you have this cause if your ignition is out and you turn the handle bars nothing will line up this makes it easy to fix (worked for 2007 Electra Glide ultra classic)

Slides down in position perfectly and allows adjustment till you find the sweet spot. Would recommend to friends with touring bikes that are doing any sort of fairing work.
