Complete source-backed product details
For low fuel requirements on engines up to about 150 horsepower, a single Solid State pump such as this one is usually sufficient. Facet fuel pumps have low power requirements (about 1 amp at 12 volts) and operate without troublesome seals or diaphragms. Facet pumps are compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to and including E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives. This complete pump kit includes Facet fuel pump number 40288, mounting bolts, and a pair of adapter fittings to accept your 5/16″ ID rubber fuel hose. Maximum fuel delivery 32 gallons per hour at free-flow. Maximum pressure 3 to 4.5 psi. Typical flow 15 gph at 2 psi. 1/8 NPT female ports. The ground wire has a ring terminal and the positive wire has a Packard connector. An internal check valve prevents fuel from draining back to the tank. This pump does not have an anti-siphon valve, so fuel can be drawn through the pump when it is shut off. The 60 inch dry lift capability is greater than most other cube-style Facet pumps.

Nice and quiet little pump, seems to work well on my 69 Scout 4 cyl., follow the instructions and mount it at a 45 degree angle for it to work it’s best. I was having problems pulling fuel out of a top mount pick up tube on the tank and this pump did the trick and now it runs great.

added longer electric lines from the old pump.. it has some mounting holes a little back from the original that I used bc I didn’t have a 90 fitting.. :)))) used all the fittings in the kit 🙂 time will tell if it lasts…

2000 2166 cub cadet with 16 hp kohler. Replaced the failing factory fuel pump with this elect one and it works great. Now I simply turn the key on for 5 seconds before starting, no long cranking needed. I mounted it on the firewall btw.

works well, very strong, but it is a noisy pump, I added isolation rubber donuts between it and metal deck

For my MG Midget, but going to have to figure out how to sound dampen it. It’s too loud.

Exactly as described and works great!

Using pump as a fuel line prime on an old vehicle. Works great so far. It is loud but I only used it to aid in starting so the noise doesn’t matter. A mechanical pump draws fuel through pump when not on. I used adapters to 3/8 to match the rest of the system.

I am using this fuel pump as an anti vapor lock and priming pump on a 1953 Cadillac.
