Arrived a bit early, worked just like the ad said. I did a lot of research prior to picking a product to resealing my rv roof. The existing rubber roof is really on it’s last leg and I thought I would give this a try rather than replace the membrane. This went on smooth and easy (although I really would have a roller AND a brush at the ready) and the finished job really looked great. I sealed the little extra I had and used it a week later on some of the more problematic areas. As luck wouldhave it it rained three days after I applied More than a little unusual in southern CA in August) but is stayed completely dry! and this was before I did the second coat with the left overs) I would suggest this to anyone to do a quick top nothc reseal….incidentally, my local rv supply store sells the same product. But for 100.00 more including shipping

This stuff makes for a good roof, but doing the job STINKS! I have worked construction all my life, used alot of diff. roofing products. I have not read of anybody that used the primer before applying the rubber. But with my fleetwood rv, liquid roof recommended for a proper bond to use it. So I did, The primer said not to mix more than can be used in 15 or 20 min.With that, one would think that is the working time that you have. WRONG! It took 11 hrs. the video also said to mix the rubber 1hr prior to application. So we actually mixed it before we did the primer, thinking in 15 or 20 min it would be ready. The rubber sat in the bucket for 12 hrs.Talk about a sleepless night, I had one, worried that I had destroyed $400.00 worth of rubber by simply following there directions. The rubber did get very stiff but with the help of my dad we were out there at 5am putting it on the roof. It all finally worked out after killing ourselves for about 2.5hrs. In short I would never use this again! I am not a fan of using time sensitive products. A suggestion to LIQUID ROOF ,if you’r going to recommend using primer, get the facts and directions to match up!

The product is my topic. If you are restoring or maintaining yourRV roof, this is the stuff to use. It flows out and self levels very thick and sinks into every crack and crevice. Thereis plenty of working time to do an accurate job. When completely cured, this material is tough and repels water. It actslike rain-ex is on the surface. Very impressed. Used it on Rubber roof and aluminum roof. It can be applied as thick as the underlyingrubber and will cure like gator skin. Same superb results. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and above 60 degrees.I have one roof that is 2 years old and it still looks new.Also reduced the temperature inside the RV from the sun dramatically.

I applied this rubber roof RV coating to my 26ft travel trailer in order to reseal the roof and to stop some leaks. This product was super thick and really seemed to be a commercial grade product. It has been on my camper now for approximately 3 weeks and has stopped all of the leaks I had and the roof looks virtually new. I would highly recommend this product in lieu of replacing the rubber roofing itself. My son and I cleaned the roof thoroughly and then applied this over the whole surface in about 4 hrs. We brushed this product along the edges of the camper and along the vents and AC unit then we poured it out in small amounts and smooth it over the remainder of the roof using the squeegee. It probably would have been more beneficial to use the squeegee and then the roller to insure a consistency of thickness over the entire roof but it still turned out pretty consistent. Reminder don’t forget to purchase and use some surgical type rubber gloves because this stuff won’t hardly come off your hands. We forgot that step and wore some of this stuff for days.

This product was phenomenal! Forget using dicor anymore for your rv roof patching. Although this is a bit higher price point it performs as advertised or better. It must be applied in temps above 60 F in order to cure properly. I applied in temps hovering around 60 F and applied the material fairly thick. It took approximately one week to cure but was tacky and water resistant within 24 hours. I painted over all the roof area of my rv including the dicor seal areas around skylights and vents. It adhered with no problems and stopped ALL leaks.

The application left air bubbles here and there. Some of these bubbles popped and left a perfect hole in the membrane all the way to the substrate (had to patch those with eternabond). Now I have some warped wood furniture. My other concern after seeing several of these popped bubbles is how long it will take to creep under the membrane itself and slowly steam the roof structure to al dente. Beyond that do know that the membrane, when whole, seems durable BUT it doesn’t really adhere to the surface. It’s more of a “stuck pretty good”. You can find any edge of the membrane and roll it up with your fingers. That’s not so much the manufacturer here as it is a property of rubbery things. So $300 later I have no more faith in my roof than before…

My second experience was better.Last year I did my 21 foot Toybox, did a lot of preparation and patching before hand using eternabond tape and Dicor self leveling sealer on joints and flanges. Applied with a brush around the edges before rolling the rest of the roof.For some reason the product bubbled in a few areas, but it’s sealed great. I am thinking the bubbling might have been due to a higher temperature on the day of application.I bought the product again this year for my 26’ travel trailer, pressure washed and prepped the same way as the other trailer, and The product went on perfectly: the roof looks like a bowling alley surface. The only disappointment was that I have product left over and it set up in such a way that we could not apply a second coat or use up the balance of the product.We used a 3/8 nap roller as recommended, with a 5’ extension handle. At the end of the job we threw away both the roller and the roller handle because cleaning them would’ve been impossible.This product is expensive, but it works so well I will continue to use and recommend it.
